Training Solutions
Training Solutions are delivered through training needs analysis, design and delivery
of instructor-led training, helping clients realise the full potential of their organisation.
B Consulting has years of varied experience in engineering wireless networks and
developing and managed service propositions in the telecommunications industries.
Our trainers are able to share this hands-on knowledge and experience. Training
is either delivered as a stand-alone service, or commonly as part of an overall consulting
package.
B Consulting helped a large communications service provider refine its managed 'next
generation' converged service proposition, then successfully rolled out a training
programme to cover the vertical sales teams, the regional sales managers and the
entire sales engineering function. Feedback on the programme was almost universally
positive. The proposition has been successful in the market.
A European regulator looking at the prospect of the introduction of GSM-R technology
to its territories wished to ensure that the Spectrum Management team had an appreciation
of GSM-R. The team, although experienced in spectrum regulation and containing experts
in radio, needed to come up to speed quickly with GSM-R. B Consulting developed
and delivered a bespoke short course to meet the requirement.
As well as bespoke training, B Consulting has developed ‘off the shelf’ training
courses based on syllabuses that have previously proved popular. Off the shelf courses
can be rapidly tailored to match a client’s budget in terms of training time and
cost. Available courses include:
- Introduction to Cellular Radio
- GSM, UMTS, HSPA, LTE and WiMAX networks (various courses)
- GSM-R for ERTMS
- Tunnel Radio Design for High Reliability
- Radio Propagation and Model Optimisation for Mobile Radio Design
- Multi-Operator In-Building Radio Design with Remote Fibre Optic systems
- Ensuring compliance with RF Health and Safety in Airport
- Principles of Telecommunications Product Management (Hands On Course)
